An excellent short with Steve Buscemi
Here’s a quick guide to indian restaurants in our area, I wanted to play with google maps and did this up for my wife, it’s not very comprehensive, just ones we are aware of and wanted to remember.
I used Chris Houser’s excellent js to embed the map.
This is my mother’s direct maternal line’s migratory pattern. These are her results from participating in the National Geographic’s Genographic Project.
Her mtDNA identifies her as:“Your mtDNA results identify you as a member of haplogroup M*. The asterisk indicates that this is a macro-haplogroup. This haplogroup is the final destination of a genetic journey that began some 150,000 years ago with an ancient mtDNA haplogroup called L3.”
This is my direct paternal line’s migratory pattern. These are my results from participating in the National Geographic’s Genographic Project.
My yDNA identifies me as:
“Your Y chromosome results identify you as a member of haplogroup Q, a lineage defined by a genetic marker called M242. This haplogroup is the final destination of a genetic journey that began some 60,000 years ago with an ancient Y chromosome marker called M168.”

From 2001 to 2002 this site was a blog that conducted a conversation between a lot of folks. Mainly my family and friends. We used Blogger then, I’m resurrecting it now with WordPress, let’s see if I get the time to maintain it again. Lost a lot of posts in the shuffle, time is a cruel mistress, ain’t she.
