Meet Mr. Ram Dass

While at Harvard, Ram Dass’ explorations of human consciousness led him to conduct intensive research with LSD and other psychedelic elements, in collaboration with Timothy Leary, Aldous Huxley, Allen Ginsberg, and others. Because of the controversial nature of this research, Ram Dass and Leary were dismissed from Harvard in 1963.

A language that can be extended, relaxed–we become accomplices maybe but I see it more of reaching the breach or fording the proverbial stream, getting by or over the ruse of the woo. I don’t want much more then this expanse of familiarity, a gift of touch and rumored tongue to taste and break and forever fold within my creases of skin. What is need or want of someone? We want each other for what purposes? To clench or grasp at an empty air, or person’s gravity, presence, being?
